This manual describes how to add your 2N® Villa Kit devices to My2N cloud and to 2N® Mobile Video service2N® Mobile Video is a service available at the My2N portal. It allows you to make calls from the 2N IP intercoms to mobile devices or 2N answering units over the internet. 

 

 

2N® Villa Kit Wiring

Connect 2N® IP Solo and 2N® Indoor Compact using a Cat5e or higher UTP cable with an RJ-45 connector into a switch to provide PoE supply. With Plug&Play you can make video calls once you have connected 2N® Villa Kit.

 

Electric Lock Connection
To connect an 8 to 12 V DC electric lock, according to the power supply (PoE: 10 V; adapter: minus 2 V supply voltage), max 600 mA, use the OUT1 terminals of the active 2N® IP Solo output.

 

Step-by-step guide

In order to sign up, please visit www.my2n.com . Fill in the information about a new user, choose where did you find out about My2N, confirm My2N's Terms & Conditions, confirm captcha security and press Sign up button as shown below.

 

You are going to receive an email where you will be asked for a confirmation of your account. Please visit provided link to confirm your new created account. Please do not reply to this email.

 


After logging in, you may begin with the configuration of 2N® Mobile Video service by clicking on the START NOW button, as shown in the picture below:

You can add a new intercom by clicking on ADD DEVICE button or section STEP 1: Where to call from in settings section.

 

Locate the security code for your  2N® IP Solo and 2N® Indoor Compact on the inlay paper card that came with the box of your Villa Kit. If you can't find the security code, you can access the web interface of the 2N® IP Solo or 2N® Indoor Compact and find the security code in the section System - Auto Provisioning -  My2N / TR069

 

 

In a new opened window, please fill in details about your 2N IP intercom.

  • Fill in the intercom's name (defined by your requirements in order to easily identify this device).
  • Fill in this device's serial number from the paper card that belongs to the device.
  • Fill in the security code from the same paper card.

Please note that one device (one serial number) can only be assigned to one My2N account at once. If you have already registered that intercom to a different My2N account, you need to remove it first.

If you choose to have the intercom connected in the Automatic Mode (set by default), the device is configured automatically via My2N cloud

Now you have successfully added 2N IP intercom to your My2N account and you can add smart phones and 2N® Indoor Compact by clicking on STEP 2: Where to call? 

 

Choose Smartphone or tablet

 

Assign a name of the smartphone based on your preferences and click add device. Email will be send to your email address with the links to 2N® Mobile Video application and login credentials for newly created smartphone device.

 

 

To be able to add the 2N® Indoor Compact choose STEP 2: Where to call? again and choose Answering unit

 

Choose 2N® Indoor Compact 

 

  • Fill in the intercom's name (defined by your requirements in order to easily identify this device).
  • Fill in this device's serial number from the paper card that belongs to the device.
  • Fill in the security code from the same paper card.

 

Now all devices are added to your account and you need to assign the call destination on the calling button of your 2N IP intercom. Choose STEP 3: Call settings

 

Assign the name of the calling button and choose devices which will be assigned to a button of the 2N IP intercom.

 

 

Now the intercom is registered and configured and last step is to download the 2N® Mobile Video from Google Play or Apple App Store and sign in. Links for 2N® Mobile Video application are included together with login credentials in the email which has been send after the smart phone device creation. You can also sign in directly to your account by choosing specific smartphone device.

 

 

You can use device ID and device password or simply scan a QR code to sign in.

 

Now all devices are ready to use.
